Fashion trends in summer ’08 are an extension of the last season. The global trends that have emerged this season are sports wear and “cultural mix”.

The most important trends this season is “Sports wear” that influence not only the outer wear but also accessories and footwear fashion. The silhouettes for the season are inspired from the past decades of 1960’s 1980’s with touches of 1970’s.

Color palette is a mix of contrasting moods. Generally, it is a season of a subdued color range and clearly defined classics. It has pastels, summer brights, warm earthy tones as well as futuristic & technological accents.

There is a graphic and fresh look which is reflected through the attitude of old and flashy feel and is well defined with a safari influence. There is a blend of casual and formal with a spice of glamour in the story.

The silhouettes will swing from body contoured to voluminous flowy elements as well. There is a wild grunge influence to create an atmosphere of modernism. Grunge feel is also added in terms of the cuts and styling. It explores multiple cultures, skills, craft, techniques and finishes from diverse regions.
