1998 was the year when IIFT has come up with it's Boutique PR's Cleopatra Haute Couture inaugurated by famous bollywood actress Raveena Tandon to cater the need of fashion conscious people of Delhi. It was also the year when we crossed all boundaries and has taken Indian fashion to international circuit by organising fashion shows in Nepal. This was one the great moments in the history of IIFT. The first fashion show that was successfully organised by IIFT in 1998 was Handloom Fantasy on 4 April '98 at IIT Campus, Kanpur, U.P., it was followed up by Trends & Styles '98 on 11 April '98 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, PR's Cleopatra - Haute Couture's - Preview on 14 May '98 at Hotel Le-Meridian, New Delhi, IIFT Fashion Show on 17 Sept '98 at IIT Compus, Kanpur, Silhouette on 19 Sept '98 at IIT, Delhi, Pratibimb on 19 Sept '98 at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu, Napal, Re-Discover Nepal on 20 Sept '98 at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu, Nepal, Ms. Kanpur '98 on 10 Oct '98 at Cownpore Club, Kanpur, Mr. & Ms. University Nepal '98 on 6 Nov '98 at Birendrea Intl.
